Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

These are locations where medical marijuana can be obtained by patients. Pharmacists work with you and our physician to determine the marijuana preparation that is best for your particular problem.  Medical marijuana is specially formulated by these pharmacists out of the many different 'cannibinoids' in the marijuana plant.  Once you are certified by our physician you will bring your certification to one of these dispensaries.  Currently, there are three  dispensaries in Albany:

Qualifying Conditions and

New York State Laws

In 2014, New York State passed the Compassionate Care Act, which allowed for the use of medical marijuana by those with a qualifying condition.  A certified physician can certify a qualifying patient.  For a list of qualifying conditions and more information, click here.

About Us

We are located across from SUNY Albany on Washington Avenue in Albany, NY.  Our board certified physician is available for medical marijuana evaluations and certification.  Our physician is part of a well-established Primary Care Practice, and holds board certifications in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Geriatrics, Sleep Medicine, Clinical Lipidology, and Obesity Medicine.  The practice has been recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance as a Patient Centered Medical Home, is a member of the federal Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative and participates with CDPHP's Enhanced Primary Care program.  Regardless of our affiliations and administrative accomplishments we still feel our most important asset is that we listen.  We feel each person seeking to explore the use of Medical Marijuana is unique, with their own unique history.
