Qualifying Conditions:

New York State has made it possible for patients to use Medical-grade Marijuana if they have been diagnosed with one of the following conditions:

In order to qualify for medical marijuana, not only must you have one of the above qualifying conditions, the condition must be causing one of the following:

  1. severe or persistent muscle spasms
  2. severe or chronic pain
  3. severe nausea
  4. seizures
  5. wasting syndrome (relentless weight loss and weakness, usually due to cancer)
  • Chronic Pain
  • Cancer
  • HIV infection or AIDS
  • Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease
  • Spinal cord injury with spasticity
  • Epilepsy
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Neuropathy
  • Huntington's Disease
  • Parkinson's Disease
